Fast fashion apps trained everyone to expect 2-day delivery. Cross-border dropshipping doesn’t work that way, and pretending otherwise just sets you up for a bad review. Here’s exactly what the 11–13 business days contains.

The journey, step by step

Day 0–1: you order; the supplier picks and packs. Day 1–3: export handling and handoff to the international carrier. Day 3–9: the long international transit (this is most of the window). Day 9–11: import clearing and handoff to your local last-mile carrier. Day 11–13: last-mile delivery to your door. None of those legs is instant, and they don’t run in parallel.

Why we don't quote 2 days

The 2-day number assumes inventory sitting in a warehouse near you. Dropshipping doesn’t — the item moves from the supplier’s region to you on order. Quoting a number we’d miss would just manufacture disappointment. 11–13 business days is the honest, held-most-of-the-time window. Tracked logistics appear in your account the moment the supplier confirms dispatch.

What speeds it up vs slows it down

Faster: in-stock items, no customs hold, a carrier with good last-mile in your area. Slower: a pre-holiday surge, an address typo, a customs inspection, or a remote delivery zone. Does this matter for EU buyers specifically?
